The piercing connector is mainly suitable to link of overhead insulated conductors, branch and ground protection,  and suitable to voltage class of 10kV and below. The main property and characteristics are:

 

1.Easy installation. By piercing theory, the contact blade penetrates the insulating layer of conductor into it, it needn't to peel the insulating layer of conductor when installation, put the main and branch lines into the clamp according to the rules, then use socket spanner twist off torque nut equably.

2.Small contact resistance, low temperature rising clamp. The special torque bolt guarantees the constant piercing pressure, make the clamp and conductor reaching to the well electric contact and no over damage conductor, make the installation simple, keep the overhead insulted conductor normal using age.

 

3.Sealing structure, high insulation. Using insulated heat conducting grease fill the inside of clamp. The whole conductor formed a entire sealing, insulating structure, improve the piercing clamp's insulating strength and security after installation, keep the clamp working reliability for a long term in bad natural environment.

 

4.The piercing clamp using harmony mating rule in structure, designed plastic sheath at the screw hole of plastic shell, increase the creep distance of bolt and conductor, improve the security insulation of clamp.

 

5.Widely application scope of clamp. Suitable to copper-aluminium conductor, branch diamter of different diameters conductors, joint of equal diameter conductor, and also suitable to transition link of copper-aluminium insulating conductors.
